Is it a bobcat?

Not sure if you have a bobcat in your back yard? Identifying a bobcat (especially a bobkitten!) can be very difficult. Check out our identifying a bobcat page to see if you have a bobcat on your hands.

Bobcat Darla and Efram's Profile Photo

Status:Male Bobcat - Released

Age:8 year(s), 3 month(s)

Darla and Efram came to us on 10/10/09 and was brought to us by a private individual who found it in the wild.

Darla & Efram came to us from a landowner south of the Tyler area. We met them In
Van, TX to pick up these babies. These two little troublemakers were seen scootin'
across the yard near the barn of this family's home. They immediately recognized that
these were not regular kittens and contacted us at NBRR.. No one really knows what
happened to their Mom, but they were clearly too young to be out of the den alone,
and there was no mom in sight. Sadly, they were probably the victims of a trapped or
shot Mom.
Darla & Efram are, without question, the HAPPIEST kittens we have EVER had here
at NBRR. We have nicknamed them our "Pot-Bellied Pumpkins". Now healthy babies,
they are growing like weeds! Follow their updates as they grow!

Update: 01/24/09
Darla & Efram are BIG kids now! They are, by far, the most personality filled kittens we have EVER seen here at NBRR. I, personally, have never known more HAPPY kittens! They play with each other, and EVERYTHING ELSE THAT MOVES all day long, until they are plum worn out! Darla, Efram, Fannie & George are all best buds now! They run around the ramps in the Bobcat Pagoda chasing each other and the peacocks and chickens who wander close to the enclosure to see what all the Ruckus is! They are hilarious to watch, and we promise to have new pictures up soon!

View their photos in the photo gallery.
